This cake was made to coordinate with the book Pinkalicious.  It is a 6 layer rainbow cake on the inside with buttercream frosting.  Happy Birthday Lucy!

The inside looks like this.

Happy Valentine's Day!

I had to post these pictures of the treats my daughter made for her teachers.  She's not even quite 4, but I think I'll be working for her before long!

Simple Superbowl

I decided to keep our Superbowl treats pretty simple.  My daughter had so much fun piping the grass on our cupcakes, and my son can't wait to eat the football cookies.  Now all we need is a Pats win....LET'S GO PATRIOTS!

Minnie Mouse

This cake is a little different than the first Minnie cake I made.  I have to say, I just love bows and polka dots!  It is a yellow cake with buttercream filling and coordinating cupcakes for school.  Happy Birthday Riley!

Flip Flop Cookies

My mother-in-law had me makes these for her friend who loves flip flops.  Happy Birthday Beth!

Cake for 7

Each year we celebrate all of the January birthdays in our family with a big dinner.  So I had to think of a way to make a birthday cake for seven people.  I went with a patchwork quilt of sorts, with each person getting a patch with something they love or love to do.  Happy Birthday Mike, Stu, Amanda, Auntie Di, Margie, Nana and Kevin!

Amanda- the music lover

Mike- the Pats fan

Nana- the tea drinker (it has to be Salada tea)

Auntie Di- the hairdresser
Stu- the Celtics fan

Margie- the sewer

Kevin- the Phillies fan

Happy Birthday to ALL!
