Cupcake Bridal Gown & Cake Pops

The bridal gown was made out of 60 chocolate cupcakes covered in buttercream frosting.  The cake pops were done in coordinating colors, half were vanilla cake pops and the other half were lemon cake pops.

Gerbera Daisy Shower

These cupcakes and coordinating cake pops were for my sister's friend's shower.  I babysat the bride to be for many years and was very excited to be a part of her shower.  Half the cupcakes are lemon with buttercream frosting and the other half are yellow with buttercream frosting.  The cake pops are chocolate.  Best Wishes Jenna & Jay!

Blue & White Bridal Shower

 This bridal shower cake was made to match the save the date for this couple's wedding.  I included the chevron striped pattern on the sides of the cake and added a flower brooch and bridal gown.  The cake was marble with buttercream filling.  Congrats Carolyn and Mike!

Hawaiian Bridal Shower Cake

This cake was for a Hawaiian themed shower for a couple honeymooning in Hawaii.  Their names are written in Hawaiian on the cake.  The cake is marble with buttercream filling and icing.  Congrats Hekele & Kukine (Heather & Dustin)!

Hot Pink & Zebra Stripes Cake

This cake was made to look like a picture that the bridal party found online.  Both tiers are yellow cake filled with buttercream and fresh strawberries.  The cakes are iced in buttercream with fondant and gumpaste details.  The mother of the groom ordered carrot cake cupcakes with cream cheese buttercream to coordinate with the cake.

Chocolate Seashell Cupcakes

These cupcakes were ordered for a bridal shower for a couple having a destination beach wedding.  Half the cupcakes are chocolate and half yellow with buttercream frosting.  I made white chocolate seashells for the blue buttercream and milk chocolate seashells for the white buttercream.  Love the way these turned out, and loving my new cupcake boxes shown in the last two pics.

Flip Flop Shower

Here are the pictures from the Flip Flop Shower that we had for my cousin Lindsey.  The shower was at my aunt's house on the beach, so we decided that flip flops would make a cute theme.  The top tier of the cake was chocolate cake with Oreo buttercream filling and the bottom tier was the bride-to-be's favorite, vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream (although once she tasted the chocolate she seemed to change her mind).  With my sister as my assistant, I iced the sugar cookie favors to match the little gumpaste flip flops on the cake.  It was a great shower...stay tuned for the wedding in October.  Guess who's making the wedding cake???

Hydrangea Cupcakes

 These hydrangea cupcakes were for a bridal shower.  They were carrot cake cupcakes with a cream cheese filling and cream cheese buttercream hydrangeas.
